Getting My Owner To Have Basic Control Over Me
Who is this course for:
This course is designed for people who have completed the Showing My Owner That Training Can Be Fun course and wish to progress further with their dog. It is also designed for owners who wish to develop control of their dog and to continue building trust between themselves and their dog.
After successfully completing this course, you will have achieved good control and be ready to move onto the next course with confidence.
What is included in this course:
 Does my owner always carry a pooh bag?
Is my collar and lead suitable?
Have I got an identification tag and does it contain the correct information;
Improving my heelwork;
How to get me to stay in one place for 1 minute;
Is my owner able to groom me correctly?
How to examine me and what to look for;
Getting me to come back!
At the end of the course there will be an assessment and once passed you will receive a certificate to confirm you have successfully completed the course.
Cost for non members: £35.00 per hour
Cost for members: £30.00 per hour

All our courses use positive reinforcement methods to train your dog and because we work with you on a 1-2-1 basis we can modify the exercises to suit your needs.
Before any training commences, you will be asked to complete an assessment form – purely for us to ascertain what course will be suitable for you, we will then spend some time on the first assessment getting to know you and your dog.
