Getting The Most From My Owner
Who is this course for:
This course is designed for people who have completed the Getting My Owner To Learn More Commands course and wish to progress further with their dog. It is also designed for owners who wish to have a greater knowledge of their dog and how, through the following years, be able to maintain a high level of control.
This is the highest of K9 Love’s courses and will strengthen your relationship, control and understanding of your dog.
The course covers the following:
 More town walking – this time, my owner determines the speed of the walk;
Rejoining my handler when told to do so;
Walking free beside my handler;
Stays (with my owner in and out of sight);
If I’m heading towards danger – teaching me to stop!
Being separated from my owner and remaining calm;
More food manners – this time, I am offered the food;
I’m very tired now, teach me how to go to bed (please!);
At the end of the course there will be an assessment and once passed you will receive a certificate to confirm you have successfully completed the course.
Cost for non members: £35.00 per hour
Cost for members: £30.00 per hour

K9 Love recommends that training is a daily process. The more you put in, the more you will get back.

All our courses use positive reinforcement methods to train your dog and because we work with you on a 1-2-1 basis we can modify the exercises to suit your needs.
Before any training commences, you will be asked to complete an assessment form – purely for us to ascertain what course will be suitable for you, we will then spend some time on the first assessment getting to know you and your dog.
